Have you or your child ever wanted to try some rodeo events? Here’s your chance! Please read all info carefully! You do not need to register in advance, except for bronc clinic!
Join us for our 2025 S.A.Y. Rodeo Funday! All ages are welcome! This is a great way to come try your hand at some rodeo events and learn about our association! This year, we will welcome not only youth but also ADULT competitors! We are looking forward to an exciting year! YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE!

***Unless you were a member in 2024, If you plan to sign up for a membership and are under the age of 20, you will need a screenshot of, or a copy of the birth certificate of the contestant!
Fun Day will offer the following events to try! We allow and encourage special needs individuals to join us! Special needs may participate in any events their caretakers feel comfortable with. Although there aren’t age requirements for SN, weight requirements are still in effect.
*Mutton Busting (sheep riding for ages up to 8 - 65 pound weight limit - limited number of rides available, first come, first ride!)
*Dummy Roping from the ground and from horseback! If you’ve never roped before, we will have folks to help you! All ages
*Breakaway sled roping - ages 9 and up
*Chute dogging (steer wrestling from the ground with size-appropriate calves and steers.) Ages 9 and up
*Goat tying on dummy goats and live goats - ages up to 19
*Goat Tail untying - ages up to 4
*Mechanical Bull Rides - all ages
*Cowboy jousting - ages 9 and up
*Arena game - all ages
*Barrels - all ages - we will have a FUN jackpot as our last event. You do not have to participate in the jackpot to do a barrel run. We are not doing exhibitions due to time constraints.
***BRONC RIDING CLINIC for ages 5 to adult will be going on during Funday. You may register for that event separately as it is not included in Funday prices. BRONCS are provided. For clinic info, please email Melody at sayr.melody@gmail.com
The cost to participate is $12 per participant. That price includes all events except Bronc Clinic. If you join as a member at registration on Funday, you may participate in events for Free (except Bronc Clinic.)
To participants, you MUST have a signed release form and a wristband!
PLEASE NOTE! Release forms for minors must be signed by a parent or court-ordered legal guardian! Grandparents, relatives, and neighbors may not sign forms! If you will be bringing a minor and are not the parent or legal guardian, you will need to email us for a release form and have it signed and notarized for the minor to participate! IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN A RIDING EVENT, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN HORSE!
This event will be rain or shine, as the arena is covered.
Location is the Heard County Arena, Franklin, Ga.

Tiny Tot - 2-4
Pee-Wee - 5-8
Youth - 9-11
Junior - 12-15
Senior - 16-19
Special Needs - 2 - Adult
Adult - 20 and above

ADULTS!
If any adult would like to try Ranch Bronc Riding, we will offer that opportunity. You do not need a special saddle for this event. You just need to bring your own regular saddle that you ride in. Although it is not required, we suggest a vest and either a neck roll or a helmet. We do not suggest you use both! 10:15 - Events begin! Event order:
*Mutton Busting. Max of 50 riders. First come, first serve. We suggest you arrive no later than 9:15 to get your spot
*Chute Dogging, Goat Tying and Goat Tail Untying
*Dummy Roping on the ground and from horse back
*Cowboy Jousting (fun for ropers)
*Arena Game
*Breakaway Sled Roping
*Barrel Race with fun jackpot Saturday,
