Each rodeo has a special Bible memory verse. If our participants memorize and recite the assigned verse for that rodeo, they will earn a yummy reward! If qualifying members memorize and recite all 8 verses (the assigned one at each rodeo), they will earn a special year-end prize for that accomplishment. Our Senior Division qualifiers are eligible to earn a Bible Verse Scholarship for achieving this goal!
In addition to the special treat at each rodeo and the year-end prize, any qualifying member who recites the verses at all 8 rodeos will be entered into a drawing for a special *saddle*!! The saddle is being donated to help encourage our kids to get into the Word. This is an awesome opportunity for our qualifying members.
Official rules can be found in the current SAYR Rule Book.

March - Proverbs 28:13 – Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
April - Isaiah 40:8 – The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.
May - 1 Peter 5:6-7 – Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
June - 2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
August - Acts 13:19 - Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord
September - 1 John 1:8 - If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
October - 2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
November - Romans 12:19 - Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
